• The chassis. There simply isn't a more fun to drive supermini...
• ...steering is full of feel, body control is brilliant, plenty of grip
• Engine loves to be revved and provides lively pace in town...
• ...but highly capable on the motorway too
• Returns almost 50mpg combined
• Dashboard is modern, stylish and simple to operate
• Cabin quality is brilliant, seating position nice and low
• Smooth ride and excellent comfort

What's not

• Emissions could be better, but at 133g/km they're still decent
• Motorway drivers will still be better off with the diesel
• Rear seat space only average for the class
• Three-door looks sleeker and costs almost 600 less
